"My top priority is to change the direction of our state government to benefit everyone in my district."
Putting my experience
to work for you
Improving people's lives has always been my calling. I have been a licensed clinical psychologist for over 30 years, first at a nonprofit in Fort Worth and then in private practice in Lewisville and Flower Mound. Along with my full-time practice in developmental disorders, I am an adjunct professor in psychology at North Central Texas College. During the course of my career, I have seen the effects of suboptimal services on everyday Texans, especially those who have special needs or who are under-resourced.
As a "preacher's kid" I grew up in small towns in the Midwest prior to coming to Texas to attend the doctoral psychology program at Baylor University. Through Baylor connections, I met my husband, who is a small-business owner in Flower Mound. We have two married daughters, and a new grandchild! Our strong work ethic and purposeful family values have led all of my family members to support and be involved in my candidacy for Texas HD 63.
